March first and time for a new challenge at the Love To Craft Challenge Blog (LTCCB). I am so excited to share these cards with you! I made a bunch of gell plate pulls and decided to grab a bunch of them & other scraps to make these mixed media, collage, layered funky cool cards.
This cool piece is a piece of patterned paper that I cut a lot of circles from my Cricut and then used it as a stencil on the gell plate. It was a thin piece of paper and pretty much ripped once I used it as a stencil. I almost threw it away but I'm so glad that I didn't.
This is the pile of papers/scraps that I used for these cards:Now some gold, white and black splatter plus added a border using a black pen:
Added sentiments, adhered to colorful card bases and DONE!
Wonderful creations!!Anesha
ReplyDeleteSome people would have just thrown those scraps but oh no not us creatives.. every scrap can make a stand and don't they do that magnificently. Fabulous work.. I love them all.

I love these cards! And I think your showing the steps along the way is great. I also have scraps I think I'm going to toss, I save and end up using them. :)
ReplyDeleteThe photo of your starting pile looks like my dining room table.

I've only ever made a card with Cricut templates. I save all kinds of scraps from cardstock, felt, foam, to HTV vinyl. Thank you for the creative ideas! Love your creations!!
