Christmas Is Almost Here!

More Christmas tags...These are from a swap we did with my local scrapbooking group...Scrappin' in Patterson.  There were only four of us that participated, but it was still fun.  Can you guess which ones are mine?

Mine are the two with the scallop circle punches.  I made a whole lot of these to use for this swap as well as for our personal use.

Christmas is almost here folks!

I used my scallop and circle punches from Stampin' Up but also the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge for the tag shapes.  Stamps are also from Stampin' Up.  I just used scrap papers for the tags and some twine for the "ribbon".

M.I.A. But Now I'm Back

Hey there, we had a great time in Orlando, Florida two weeks ago.  It took me a good long week to recover and get back to my mojo.  I can't wait to scrap those photos...but in the meantime, I still have plenty of projects on my plate.

I will be participating in an All Handcrafter's Boutique on November 1st in Manteca.  This will be my second time with this boutique.  Carly and I did pretty well last year and we really, really liked what we saw.  It's nice to be a part of a boutique that actually focuses on handcrafted items instead of home based businesses.  Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just when I think of boutique, I think of items I cannot get somewhere else or order from a catalog.

I'm planning on making more pop up cards and some of those tea bag dispenser boxes.  I'll make one to see if I like it, but the photos sure do look cute.  I'll post soon.

In the meantime, this little cutie got filled with lots of Disney character signatures!

She is Fierce

I was commissioned to make these four prints to put in 8x10 frames.  It is another artistic friend of mine so I'm taking a trade instead of payment.  She is an amazing crocheter and I just love her stuff.

She's pregnant and expecting in October.  She sent me her pinterest photo, brought over the papers and I just did the cutting and putting it all together.  Although it did take a while since there were lots of items to cut, but I love them and more importantly, so does she!

The coloring does not look great.  The swirly paper is white with silver glitter swirls.  The color theme is baby pink and light gray.

Cricut cartridges used:
Plantim Schoolbook (LOVE and Shakespeare)
Art Philosophy (butterfly)
Artbooking (letters for quote)
Zoobaloo (elephant)

Disneyworld or Bust

I'm so excited that we're heading off to Disneyworld on Friday!  Carly and I decided to make our own autograph books for all the characters we encounter.  So you know me, I couldn't just make one.  I made a few more for the next craft sale.

The smaller ones were made by me.  I cut cardstock at 4 x 11 and cut six plain printer paper at 3.75 x 10.75.  Stapled at the center and then folded in half.  The autograph books are now 4x5.5.  I decorated the fronts using my plethora of Disney items/cutouts/paper and stamped the word "autographs" for each.

I can't wait for our trip!  We are going to be so exhausted and it's going to be so much fun!

This one was made by altering a Bazzil mini album that I had for so long and almost forgot about.  I decided to cover it with primary colors and then just accent it with Disney embellishments.

I may do more but with a princess theme.  But everyone loves Mickey!

Supplies:
Cricut Cartridges:  Mickey and Friends and Mickey Font
"Autographs" stamp was another Rubber Paws gift.
A lot of the embellishments were given in different swaps that I've been involved in - can't beat that!
