WOYWW #567

Happy WOYWW! Good day deskers and everyone else taking a peek into my craft room today. This week is my turn to go into the office so I’m not as busy in the Command Center as I have been. I decided that I need to work on more scrapbooking since I’m still way behind. Here’s a shot of my desk as I was messing around with my Cricut trying to come up with an overlay for a page.

I saw something similar on Pinterest and figured I could make my own. I’m sorting through my photos to figure out which one I’ll use with it.

Otherwise my desk is pretty clear.

Click on over to Stamping Ground to read all about WOYWW and see other desks.

A big shout out to those deskers who have been affected by the COVID virus and are healing. We are all good here in my household. Our new norms have changed and we’re getting used to it. I’m happy to be back in the office for a few days, but it is strange seeing people in masks.

I hope all is well and see you all next Wednesday for another peek!

  1. We are indeed in strange times and people are wearing masks more and more here too. I hope you're ok going into the office, stay safe. Pinterest is a goldmine of ideas, I'm glad it inspired you to make up your own design!

  3. Ah, Darlene, you just get into some mad new routine at home and now you have to force another one to go into work, your brain will be all over the place! You’re pretty handy with the Cricut, I must say! Glad to hear you’re all well at home...please stay that way!

  5. Haven't resorted to the masks yet but we have a few in reserve just in case it becomes a requirement. Plenty of gloves as I use them in the craft room. It sure is a strange time. Stay safe, stay well, Happy WOYWW Cindy #12

  6. Good to hear all is well at your home. I have found so much conflicting information about masks that I gave up and now stay at home. Have fun creating.

  7. Glad to hear that you are keeping well Dorlene. I may make myself a mask to wear at school when I go in (on rota) in two weeks. Look forward to seeing which pictures get chosen to go with the cut out. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7

  8. Hi Dorlene. I like that shape you have cut out - it will; be good to see what you put into the empty spaces... one photo or several? Trust all goes well for you as you are in the office. I don't wear a mask either. I do wear gloves when shopping as I also shop for 6 vulnerable folk in lockdown, all much older than me, so don't want to risk anything.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

  9. Your Cricut design is looking good - I would love one but don't want to go through the learning process - it sounds quite challenging!
Hope you have a good week and stay safe and well,

  10. Hi Dorlene, that overlay looks really interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing how you complete it. I've got my fingers crossed that things calm down at my parents as dad was refusing to take his medication yesterday and it's difficult for us to keep going there for their sake and the carers. It sure is a difficult time. However, pleased you're getting settled into your new routine. Stay safe and have a happy and creative belated WOYWW, angela x17x

  11. I am one of those extremely vulnerables so I cannot go out, not that I want to, and as long as the virus starts to reduce they can keep me in lockdown longer. I just want people to be alright if at all possible,
That is a large and lovely shape you have cut out for your LO - looks interesting and I hope you show us how you have used it another week.
    Stay safe and well

  13. I love the overlay piece you've cut out, Dorlene. That's a great idea. I keep thinking I must do something like that on my cutting machine for cards. I just haven't spent enough time in the studio lately and have been busy with drawing and colouring instead.

Keep safe and well, and happy belated WOYWW,
