Hey there! I’m excited to show you the card I made for my first DT project for the Love To Scrap Challenge Blog. This month the challenge is Anything Goes.
The sponsor this month is DRS Designs and one person will win a 20% off voucher to use in their store!
One of our good friends is having a fish themed O“fish”ally 40 birthday and I knew this stamp would be perfect for his card.
Close ups and details:
I stamped the Jumping Fish image twice - one specifically for the fish. I used watercolor to color both images. I knew I was going to fussy cut the second fish so I only concentrated on coloring the fish and not the background. I used a white gel pen to add details and a clear glitter marker to add shine to the fish and the water. (The photo does not do it justice.)
The fish was popped up using foam dots and placed right on top of the base fish. OMG it doesn’t get much better than 3D! I also used foam tape to pop up the circle to the card.
I used an assortment of paper scraps for the background, some Sparkle Silk to add more shine and a Happy Birthday sentiment stamp from my stash.
Now it’s your turn, click on over to the LTSCB to link up your own stamped creation for a chance to win a prize! Hope to see you there!
This is so fabulous!! I love the image and dimension!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)
