12 Days of Christmas Tags 2018; Day Two

Glad you're back to check out Christmas Tags Day Two. Ok...I know it's only Day Two, but these might be my favorite!

I have a lot of scraps...I mean, who doesn't right?! But...I have a lot of scraps! When we celebrated my parents' 50th anniversary in 2012, I bought a lot of gold patterned papers and when my DS3 got married last year, I bought a whole lot more plus all things gold embellishments so now I have a lot of scraps. So, I decided to pull those out for these tags.
Now that's a lot of scraps!
I covered a piece of white cardstock with strips of the gold patterned papers. Once I filled the paper, I trimmed it into 2x3.75 pieces.

Then I trimmed another solid scrap from the pile into 1.5 x 3 pieces and punched snowflakes from scrap gold glitter paper. I tied metallic gold string and attached little gold bows to each.
I stamped the "to and from" to the bottom of each.

I love how these turned out! And it feels good to use my supplies. I hope this encourages you to use your scraps too. I may do the same thing with my other pile of scraps. Like I said, I have a lot of scraps. I do keep them separated by color in Ziploc baggies so something like this was easy to do.

Don't forget to leave a comment for an entry into my giveaway. At the end of the 12 days, I'll pull one random person to win one each of the twelve tags. Go back to the beginning by either scrolling down or clicking on the "12 Days of Christmas Tags" label to the right.

Bonus: Include the number of times I typed "a lot of scraps" with your comment for an additional entry.
