WOYWW is where we share our desks and we get to take a peek at everyone else's. I love this part since I get inspired by all the different desks/projects and lives of fellow deskers. Click on over to Stamping Ground to read more about this linkage and take a peek into our work spaces.
I don't have a photo of my desk but am sharing the process of making these tags.
It’s that time of the year - 12 Days of Christmas Tags! This is my third year doing it and it's so much fun! As always, at the end of the 12 days, I’ll have a giveaway for a set of one each of the tags. Be sure to leave a comment on all, some or one of the posts to be entered. Each comment is one entry.
Good luck!
Moving on to Day One:
I pulled out my washi tape for these tags. The base is white cardstock with a subtle stamped background. I added washi tape and then trimmed the sides to create a triangle/tree shape. (This was a Merry Mixed Media class by James Burke jlbcreative - another YouTuber that I follow.) The thicker the better for the cardstock since you'll be using a craft knife to slice the washi.
Once I was done with the trees, I cut the tops to create a tag shape and added a punched hole.
To add some pizzazz, I tied a triple loop bow and attached with a button to the tops. I used scrapper's floss - do you remember that stuff?
