Today's the day! Day One of the Masculine Card Series that I am doing for this week. Be sure to check here, YouTube and/or my IG account to see all the cards this week.
The first card is a stamped card. I did some collage stamping using an old Stampin Up! nautical stamp set. You can watch the process on the YouTube video but basically, I used a circle stencil, paddle brush and blue ink to create the first layer for this card.
Once I did that, I grabbed some neutral colored ink pads and stamped.
The focal image (ship) was stamped on a white piece of cardstock and fussy cut. I added a blue vellum circle, a black strip of paper, a random paper scrap and twine to create a base for the ship to rest on.
I then added a couple of enamel dots and a Happy Birthday sentiment.
Check out the video!
