One Corner At A Time; Cinderblock Project

If you follow my blog, you know we've been working on our backyard "one corner at a time". I had this cinderblock project that I've wanted to do for some time and finally had the chance to work on it this past Labor Day weekend. Hubby and I went to Home Depot to purchase the cinderblocks and spray paint.
Man, I gotta tell ya, I got a good workout spray painting. Who knew?! I was doing squats when moving up and down to paint, lifting weights as I moved the cinderblocks from one spot to another (those things weigh at least 10 pounds) and got a great hand workout when pressing the paint nozzle. Yeah, I'm exaggerating a little, but seriously, so sore the next day!
I used my cricut to cut stencils for the words. The "Stay Weird" stencil was not as flat as it should have been, but I still like the quirkiness of it.

We didn't add plants yet since we're going to add some more cinderblocks. We want it a little larger than what this one turned out. This is using 10 cinderblocks but we'll add more and then we'll put in the plants.
Fun, right?!
