Another Friday and I’m still thankful. Wow, two weeks Sheltered in Place and I’m getting a little stir crazy! This week, I’m thankful for the updates and conversations that I’m having with friends and family more often. We’re all in this together #alonetogether is true for sure. I’ve talked to four cousins that normally I only give the “thumbs up” on their FB posts.
I talked to three old co-workers, two nieces and a high school buddy.
People are reaching out and it’s been pretty cool!
I hope you are staying safe, staying in place and finding things to be thankful for this week.
Let me know in the comments, what you are thankful for this week...
A place to showcase my crafts and talk about it...what's better than that? I hope to inspire and encourage others to create things for themselves, friends and family.

Junk Journaling w/LeAnna
My granddaughter had a lot of fun working in the Junk Journal and did a great job! Here are some photos!
This is how it started:
She didn’t like the bright red so I gave her the hint about adding white to cover up what you don’t like.
Look at all that paint goodness!
When she stamped the sunflower, it didn’t leave a dark enough impression so she used a marker to darken the image.
Then added some gold foil!
Some paint splatters and of course, the signature!
The next page:
Look at that beautiful face! She’s so happy!

Love To Scrap Challenge Blog; April - For The Girls
Happy April Fool's Day! The challenge at the LTSCB for the month of April is For The Girls! I decided to do a scrapbook layout of my daughter & I with our scrapbook group of friends at last year's Stamp & Scrapbook Expo. This year's expo is right around the corner and I can't wait!
I used a Scrapbook Generation kit and it was perfect for these photos!
I also used some items that were a freebie from the Expo since we attended the crop.
Look at that Washi! Isn't it great!
I created some clusters using both the sticker sheet from the kit and dies from the freebie kit. I love that they coordinated.
Your turn...click on over to the LTSCB and link up your "For The Girls" project!

The stamps were a collection in the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo pack too! They are a little hard to read but they say, "all I can say is it was fun" and "what happens at the crop goes into the scrapbook". Isn't that the truth!
This was a fun page to put together since it included some of my favorite people and my favorite hobby!Your turn...click on over to the LTSCB and link up your "For The Girls" project!
Love to Craft Challenge Blog; April Anything Goes
As always, the challenge them at the Love To Craft Challenge Blog (LTCCB) is Anything Goes.
I've been working in my Junk Journal a lot lately so I am sharing this spread with you.
I am not one to waste supplies and working in a Junk Journal I like to use as many recycled products as possible. I cut out these words with my Cricut for some Valentine's cards and kept the negative for a stencil.
You vaguely see the "mine" but you can definitely see the "loves". I used some Ranger Distress spray for this.
One of things I love about my Junk Journal is that I use it to mop up left over ink, paint and other mediums so when I go to work in it, there aren't many "white" pages. This helps with the fear of a blank page!
If you look at this close up, you can see the remaining piece of a sticker sheet. This was already on the page just wanting to be prettied up!
The heart was cut out from a copy of a previous art journal page and I created a shadow with some honey ink.
The "Bee Mine" letters and bee were cuts from the Cricut that I didn't use for a card. It was sitting on my desk staring at me! I used a white pen to add some doodles on each letter (which I LOVE). Stamped hearts and used my fingers to add the small dark blue dots.
Be sure to click on over to LTCCB to link your Anything Goes project.

BBTB2; Easter Boxes, Bags or Baskets, Oh My!
Happy Monday.
There’s a new challenge on the BBTB2 website. It is Easter Boxes, Bags or Baskets - Oh My! or any kind of 3D item.
I made this cute container for the challenge.
The container is the nut cup from the Tags, Bags, Boxes & More cartridge and the cute chick is from the Simply Charmed cartridge. The nut cup was cut at 5 3/4 and the chick at 2 1/4. The overall size of the cup is a little under 3”. Perfect for a few treats!

TGIF; Thankful Friday #123
WHAT A WEEK! This week I’m thankful for random activities. I have completed six scrapbook layouts, three YouTube videos, danced to Kids Bop with my granddaughter, created a base for my Junk Journal signatures, instructed a Paint Night, virtually visited the Monterey Aquarium, cleared part of my pantry, and worked on a 2,000 piece puzzle.
I’ve done more this week than I’ll ever do in a month! We just heard that our Shelter In Place has extended to May 1st. What will we accomplish and/or learn during this time? Hmmm...
I’m thankful that I actually like my family! LOL
And that hubby had to “army crawl” in Walmart to find the last pack of TP (under the shelf).
Stay healthy my friends! If you’re not already, subscribe to my YouTube channel and/or check back here often for lots of new posts!

SG 6x6 Layout
This two page layout was made by using the Scrapbook Generation 6x6 Layout Class. I purchased this class awhile ago and only used it one other time. The idea is to basically use your 6x6 pads but of course you could use 12x12 or any size paper and cut it down.
For this two page spread, I only used two 6x6 pieces of patterned papers. This paper is from CTMH. The embellishments I pulled from my Sticker Book are from Basic Grey. These are really old but coordinated so good with the color of these patterned papers.
The alphabet stamps are from SU! Had them forever!
I also made a YouTube video of this process.
The layout is an April Month In Review layout. I love to do this because some things don’t necessarily need to have a whole layout but just a reminder that these things happened. These photos are from a night out for a friend’s birthday, clicking glasses to celebrate the news of a new baby, photo booth photo at my cousin’s wedding and a photo of my mom & niece at her softball game.
