Chicken Wire

I finally finished these frames!  I bought these frames a long time ago.  One at a thrift store and the other from a yard sale at least two years ago.  My sister gave me some chicken wire she didn't need and I knew I was going to use it for these frames.  Well, I went to look for the staple gun and of course I couldn't find it.  I borrowed one from a coworker and friend and finally finished them.  These photos turned out horrible, but then again, how do you take a photo of an empty frame with chicken wire inside?  I have many decorated clothespins that are just waiting to hang some photos, notes or whatever on the wire!
As you can tell, one of the frames in horizontal and the other is vertical.  They are about 16x20" or bigger.  I haven't measured them.

I'll take a photo later when they have some fun stuff hanging from the wire :)  One frame I bought for $3 and the other $2 so for both I spent $5!  It doesn't get much better than that!!

  2. What a wonderful idea! I have some chicken wire in the shed, and will be on the look out for some frames this spring at yard sales. It's alot more stylish than my plain ole bulletin board. Great job!!
