Using Scraps Challenge

Earlier I posted that I wanted to challenge myself to use scraps.  Well, I referred to this link and used her idea on layering paper strips and using these for cards.

Here's what they started off like:

One is pink with some red scraps and one a fall color variety and this bright color theme scraps from a paperbag album I made a long time ago.

I used a lot of candy from swaps that I've participated in over the years.

I colored these images that I downloaded from Bugaboo Stamps website.  I haven't downloaded any in a long time, but her images are so cute!

Anyhow, I used lots of scraps (hardly a dent though) and lots of card candy that I've also been storing up.  I love how simple they are but they look like it took so much work.

  2. Dorlene, I got so much from your post today!!!. The scrap idea is awesome and I never paid attention to bugaboo stamps till today, their stamps are hilarious, I literally laughed out lous with some Stella and the old guy ones. Thanks!!!. Great cards by the way!!!
