It's time again for another six week challenge at Love To Craft Challenge Blog (LTCCB). This is a great challenge for all things crafty! You can link your project for the challenge by going to the LTCCB website.
My project for the current challenge is this super cute first birthday baseball card. I found this project on Cricut Design Space and followed the design exactly except I added an inside layer.
One of the nicest things about Cricut Design Space is that there are so many great projects that are on there. I searched for a 50th anniversary card and found one I wanted to make. The card was created by Theresa Donnelly originally but I made some changes.
Perfect. I cut all the elements and then couldn't for the life of me figure out how to fold it. It took quite some time to figure it out but eventually I did.

I posted this card on my IG on Sunday, June 7th because apparently it was National Donut Day. This card went through some "I don't know if I like it" moments but I kept going and eventually ended up with a card that I loved.
These faux postage stamp collection cards are so fun to create. I used my Cricut to cut the base and all the mats & pieces needed to complete the card. I went ahead and cut pieces for three cards even though I only used one set (for now).

I may go back and add some sprinkles but as of right now, it's done.

With graduation ceremonies right around the corner, I decided to add some graduation cards to my stash. There are quite a few cut files available on the PCC website (and some are free) but I decided to use the You Did It file.
Once uploaded into Cricut Design Space, I changed a few areas to customize the tassel, diploma ribbon and one of the offset layers to match school colors.
As always, I stack the pieces before adding adhesive. This helps visualize the project and avoids a gluey mess. With some small cuts, it was great to use my picking tool and fine tip adhesive.
I used both black and white markers to add highlights and don't you just love the red glitter paper to add sparkle!?

I participate in as many challenges I can with card making and scrapbooking. It really helps me with trying new things and pushing myself.
With these three cards, I did just that. I used three funny stamps from Rubbernecker that I've had for years; three different Snoopy stickers (stolen from my granddaughters' sticker bin) and a window die. Oh, I almost forgot. I used background paper using Cricut Design Space print/cut feature.
These are pretty simple and I love them so much!

Hi there, it’s Dorlene and I’m excited to announce that I’m guest designing this month on the Printable Cuttable Creatables Blog. It’s Spring and a perfect time of the year for butterflies, flowers, sunshine and even rain.
I decided to create a different kind of card to feature the Spring Butterflies SVG cut file. I’m calling it a flip out arch card. I don’t know the official name, but this one pretty much describes what it is.
After uploading the Spring Butterflies file into Cricut Design Space, I also uploaded the Spring Borders SVG cut file set. You don’t necessarily have to use this file, but it sure does add more Spring fun! The card base was also created in Cricut Design Space using their free shapes & score line.

After everything was cut out with the Cricut, as always, I put the small pieces together to create the images.
The butterfly is so pretty with three different shades of yellow to create more dimension and interest. I love it!
As shown in the video, layer and adhere the different Spring Borders to the inside and also the open arch shape that is the card front.
I used foam adhesive to place the butterfly within the arch; added sequins; and stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment to finish the card.
I love, love, love how this turned out! Making the base was so easy on Cricut Design Space!

If you're like me, you've got lots of goodies all over your desktop. I have a small container with images that should have made it on a card. I decided to go through that for this hop.

Look, there's still stuff all around but I did make an effort to tidy up.

Well folks, I have decided to step down from the Printable Cuttable Creatables Design Team so this is the last project for them but definitely not the last time I'll use their cut files.
In honor of December birthdays, I decided to make a cute card using their cut file Scandinavian Nordic Gnome. I mean who doesn't love a gnome? Plus there are so many great gnome puns!
Once the image is uploaded into Cricut Design Space, make sure the image is highlighted and then ungroup. Printable Cuttable Creatables gives multiple layering options in their cut files but you only need one.
Since we're using paper, keep the top image and delete the bottom.
Now it's time to adjust the size. Just click on one of the corner dots and drag until it reaches the size you want.
Since I know in advance that I need a backing for the gnome, I duplicated the entire image and then used the combine feature to create a solid back.
Now I'm going to cut this, layer & adhere and get ready to make the card.
The card base is 4.25x7" scored at 5.5. You'll also need a piece of the same cardstock at 4.25x1.5".
Two pieces of coordinating cardstock at 4x1.25 and two pieces of patterned paper at 3.75x1.0".

The key to this fun fold card is to make sure the image is taller than the gap in between. Other than that, it's pretty easy to put together!
This is it! Gift tag number 12. I wanted to include the ridiculous 6 7 that's taking over our youth this year. If you've got a young one, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

I used Christmas bread tied to finish them and Nuvo Drops in Ivory Seashell to highlight the snow covered numbers.

We're at the halfway point of my 12 Days of Christmas Tags Series and this one is an easy one. I saw this print then cut project by Marta Silvestre on Cricut Design Space and made no changes except changed the size of them.
Like I said, easy. I don't feel bad about it because that's what crafters do. Create projects, share them and hope others make them too!
I did make them my own by removing the names on the labels and most importantly, added the fun twine with beads to finish them off. Click HERE for the DS link.

It's Day Four of the 12 Days of Christmas Tags Series and I've got a sparkly one. I purchased washi tape and snowman brads from Eyelet Outlet when I attended the Expo earlier this year. Actually, the washi tape was purchased two years ago!
The tags were customized and cut with the Cricut. The rest was super easy to put together. Watch the YouTube process video for instructions on how I customized the tag fronts and bases.
