Carly decided to make these "pencils" for her coworkers. We both saw these before on pinterest and they looked pretty easy to put together. Yes, they were!
You stack a silver Kiss to a roll of Rolos to make the "pencil". We used pink tissue paper to wrap around the top (eraser), put silver tape around the edge of the tissue and then wrapped yellow paper around the whole thing.
Carly handwrote the tags. Adorable!
Since it was so last minute, they aren't perfect, but still adorable. I know her coworkers will love them!
A place to showcase my crafts and talk about it...what's better than that? I hope to inspire and encourage others to create things for themselves, friends and family.

Happy Valentine's Day!
I went on a rampage and made a lot of Valentine's Day cards this year. You saw a bunch in an earlier post, but here are the cards I made for my kids:
I had a lot of fun using scraps for different cards. None of them were hard except maybe the first one just because I had to punch a bunch of small hearts. I love the added sequins to the heart bundle.
I added some candy to a cellophane bag and that's their goodie. Nothing much but better than nothing, right? LOL

Reel Life
Another successful scrapbooking day at the library on Saturday. I worked on lots of Christmas photos/layouts. This one is for the Let's Scrap sketch challenge. Check out the challenge site here. They have great sketches which makes it so easy to start your layout. I don't always end up like the original sketch, but they do inspire me to start.
Here's the sketch:
And here's my take on it:
I love the view master reel stamp from CTMH. If you're interested in purchasing any CTMH products, I am now a consultant. Go to their website www.closetomyheart.com and then click on find a demonstrator and type in my name, Dorlene Durham. These photos are from Christmas Eve. The artwork on the right side is from a Christmas card that my dear friend, Terry made for me. Her work is amazing! These photos are also taken by Kevin's cell phone. This was the night before opening my new camera.
The paper is from the same Christmas paper stack that I've been using a lot this year. I absolutely LOVE this paper and 60% off is even better. I just wish I would have picked up the embellishments that went with it. Oh well. I guess the fun part of creating is actually creating. LOL
Hey, I just realized I didn't even use my cricut with this layout.
