Tucson Day One

I’ve had quite the travel year. I went to Texas, Nevada, Arizona and Washington all in the same year. It may not be much for some of you, but I rarely travel especially out of state.

I am finally getting to scrap my Tucson photos. I took this trip with my mom, sister and BIL in April. My sister and BIL just moved there and I wanted to check out the place.

I have so many photos and many of them are of cacti. I mean, too many photos of cacti. I know I didn’t have to print them all, but apparently I didn’t know when to stop there either. LOL

I used Sketch #352 on Sketches in Thyme blog to get started on this one. I bought a 6x6 paper pad for this trip & I could kick myself for not getting the 12x12 pad instead. But, I refuse to go out and buy another paper pad so I’ll make it work. I pulled out some patterned papers from my stash for this layout that I felt coordinated with the theme of the photos.

Those cacti are cut from one of the 6x6 papers. I know this page is super busy, but I hope I didn’t over do it with color/patterns. I did add some brown and dark purple to tone it down a bit. My mom is always so silly when taking photos - that's why I llove her llots!

  1. Lovely LO's - I had to smile. When I went to Arizona I wanted a photo of myself with a giant cactus - it had to be a specific shape - didn't get one. Like your white one with the arms. The driver never offered to stop! Anyhow when I went to Spain I saw the cactus so managed to get my photo after all.
Sadly didn't get the top for Wednesday!
