WOYWW #578

Happy WOYWW! Happy Hump Day! and Happy Wednesday!

Today is the day that we share a photo of our work desks at the Stamping Ground blog.

Here's my desk this morning...

Actually pretty clean! There's some random things spread all over, but basically I cleared the area to place my laptop earlier this week.

Those two Halloween stamps on the top middle are two that I'm still considering to keep or gift as part of my Bash Your Stash series (click on the label to the right to read more about this series).

I'm sorry to say that my cute red and black polka dot scissors are on it's last days. They were cheapo ones from Walmart, but I love them! I'm not sure if you can tell, but I bought a small shelf to place the Lazy Susan tool holder and items. It's about 4 inches high but gives me more space to tuck in my "go to" stamp pads and other things. There's a drawer that I can also place some items. It's still pretty low so I can still see my daughter on the other side too!

Click on over to the Stamping Ground blog and share a photo of your work desk! Have a great week!

  4. Hi Dorlene. Oh - don't you just hate it when something really well used dies! Hope you have another pair of scissors which are just as good. . I like the idea of a shelf just above your workdesk - gives more room for extra stash...
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

  5. Hi Dorlene, I love the handle on those scissors, not seen those before. You may not have a lot of room on your desk but it looks very tidy. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x20x

  8. Hi Dorlene, I could do with a Lazy Susan just like yours, I have far too many small pots taking up room that I can hardly fit anything it. I bet it's such a handy time saver to have around. Your spotty scissors are so cute, isn't it always the way the cheapest tools work far better than those costly things. I hope you can find a replacement at a like for like price.

  9. I have some polka dot scissors just like yours, but blue! I love them too! Your desk looks nice and ready for a creative week ahead. I glad someone else out there is a wanna-be gardener! It's hard to have all these ideas in your head and no idea how to make them work! Have a happy 4th of July, stay safe! Thanks for your earlier visit, have a great week! Lindart #34

  11. How sad about your lovely scissors, Dorlene! Sometimes the really cheap things end up being absolute favourites, don't they, and it's sad to see them go! They are rather fun with the polka dots. Do Walmart still make them so you could get another pair? I like your little shelf too - I've got one along the back of my desk, too and it makes a huge difference.

    Happy belated WOYWW,
