ICAD #3 and #4

Hey ICADians, here are my days 3 & 4 cards.  When I saw Snoopy as the prompt for day 3, I about squealed!  I love Snoopy and all things Peanuts.  I have some stamps but rarely pull them out.  Strange...I know.

Carly is joining the fun.  She loves Instagram and had to join.  Since she no longer has a blog, I know she'll add to Instagram.  She may get a guest appearance (if she's nice) here.  I hope she sticks to it.  She really is a great artist and has a very creative mind.

Card #3:
Prompt:  Snoopy
I spritzed the card in water and then painted green and blue watercolor on it.  Once dried, I stamped Snoopy.  I stamped Snoopy again on white cardstock, fussy cut him and placed him right on top of the other stamped image.  (I wanted Snoopy to be white.). I used a fine point BIC pen to draw a messy border.  I knew I wanted to write a quote/sentiment, but didn't know what.  As I was sitting there pondering, I noticed the name of the stamp is "Happy Mail", there you have it - inspiration hit.  LOL. I used a Sharpie to write it and highlighted with my white Signo marker.  And then, since my philosophy with art is everything needs a little yellow...I spritzed a water/paint concoction on it.  Simple, but I love it.

Card #4:
Prompt:  Typewriter
I know I have a typewriter stamp and knew I'd use it for today's index card.  I gesso'd the card, added old olive ink refill drops and sprayed it with water.  It covered the whole card.  Once dried, I added some Pumpkin Pie ink drops here and there with spritzed water.  Then I stamped the typewriter to the right side and ghost stamped around the card.  I added the XOXO's all over.  Added the sentiment.  I also spritzed some watered down acrylic paint and splattered all over the card.
