Day 7: Are you commenting on each post? Be sure to post each day of the 12 day series for a chance to win all 12 handmade tags.
This tag is probably the most simple one that I made so far. I purchased this tag stamp from the thrift store for $.50. It was marked $1.00 but I happened to be there on a 1/2 off day (YAY!)
I love the vintage look of this tag and didn't want to overdo it with this one. I used my TBBM cricut cartridge to cut the tag and a shadow base. I used markers to color the holly, scarf and hat. I added some glimmer with a clear Wink of Stella marker.
I wanted to use this beautiful gold mesh ribbon but when I threaded it through the hole, a lot of glitter was released. UGH! Glitter was everywhere. I switched to the other gold ribbon because I just wasn't in the mood to clean up glitter!
Although they are pretty basic, I still really like them and hey, they serve their purpose!!
