Some tags I made for another swap. This is the last swap for now. I cut the dress form with the Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge and the button card and spool are stamps from Stampin' Up. I used various ink colors for the background to give it lots of color. In this swap, the rules were to use lace, ribbon, bling and metal for the tags. This is what I came up with...
I wish I had some swirly bling to add more blingage (yes, that's a word) but I didn't want to go out and purchase anything so there's only a little bit of bling.
The tag is 4x6.
A place to showcase my crafts and talk about it...what's better than that? I hope to inspire and encourage others to create things for themselves, friends and family.

Spring Fling Exchange
Woo Hoo! Horray for Spring! Especially when it brings amazing gifts from a friend. The Pajama Party Girls did a Not So Secret Sister Exchange and this is what I received from Pam.
Lots and lots of embellishments packaged by color, bakers twine, washi tape, stamps, an adorable paper bag album and a post it note holder.
I love being spoiled!! Thanks Pam :)

By The Shore
Even though I went to an all day crop last weekend, I didn't finish any layouts. I spent most of the day using the Cricut and cutting Disney characters for myself and my sis.
So...as I'm waiting for the boys' game to start, I decided to work on one layout. Using the current sketch challenge at Let's Scrap, here's my By The Shore layout.
I used papers and embellishments from the Yours Truly collection by Glitz Designs. I received this pack and embellishments at the Scrapbook Expo in March. I love the navy blue and red color scheme and thought it would work well with these photos of us in Monterey. The stamped quote and the stamped anchor are from two different stamp sets from Stampin' Up. "Shore" font is cut from the Suburbia Cricut cartridge.
I've got plenty of photos of this day so I'm sure you'll be seeing more...

A Creative Mess!
For the last few nights, I've been "moving" supplies around and really not doing much of anything. Do you ever get to that point? I have lots of ideas, but don't always know where to start.
Thankfully, there are plenty of great websites out there that inspire me. If you feel like poking around, check out my friends' sites at the bottom of my blog or here are some of the other sites I follow:
A Mermaid's Crafts ; Thoughts of a Cardmaking Scrapbooker; Let's Scrap; Ribbons and Glue; Stress Fee Stamping with Shana;
Paper Playtime; This and That; and @ Home with Studio K.
These are a few that I have bookmarked, but I also go to Splitcoaststampers or just spend time on other blog, clicking at their favorite sites and pretty soon you're following website trails...you know what I mean, one click leads to another and soon you don't know where you started or what you were looking for in the first place. I love that! It's amazing how hours can go by before you realize that you probably could have been doing dishes or something! LOL
Hey, speaking of dishes...I think I have a sink full downstairs right now...and like the sign says..."Wishes won't wash dishes". Downstairs I go...
Enjoy!

Spring Break!
Boo Hoo! Spring Break is almost over...we spent the day in Monterey and it was absolutely beautiful! I always say, we need to take more pictures because we don't do it often enough. Out of all the photos I took, I think I like this one the best!
Happy Spring everyone!
