I'm super excited to announce that I've been selected to be on the Love To Scrap Challenge Blog Design Team! My term starts in July so look for those challenge posts soon!
Check out my bio HERE.
Love to Scrap is a stamping challenge blog that welcomes all projects such as cards, scrapbook layouts, ATC cards, etc. You’ll have lots of options to play and I hope to see you enter the challenges. If nothing else, be inspired by the DT and the submissions.
My first entry will be on July 1st so be sure to check back to find out more!
See you over there!
A place to showcase my crafts and talk about it...what's better than that? I hope to inspire and encourage others to create things for themselves, friends and family.

BBTB2; Father's Day
Good day! The current challenge on the Bitten By The Bug 2 (BBTB2) challenge site is Father's Day.
I downloaded a free cut file from Dreaming Tree for this cute 3D Father's Day - Royal Treats Box. I'm not sure why these cute files are just given for free, but if you get the opportunity, click on over there and check out their SVG files.
After I put the box together, I thought this would also be super cute for any occasion where the recipient is "royalty".
I added assorted gems to both the front and back and stamped the sentiment on both shields. I was going to write on the back shield, but changed my mind. You can see how a handwritten note would also work there.
One thing to note, I used my Jewel Picker to grab the jewels and place them onto the box. This was a great buy from the Scrapbook Expo this year. I love this thing!
Stamp is from CTMH. It's an older hostess stamp set and no longer available.
Your turn...create something for Father's Day and link it to the BBTB2 blog. Click on over there for some Cricut inspiration from the Design Team and other linkers.

ICAD 2019 Week One
YAY! It's finally here! The 2019 ICAD challenge! Click HERE to go to the Daisy Yellow Art blog to read all about ICAD and get the prompts. Remember, you don't necessarily need to start on June 1st, the first year I did it, I started in August. Just be sure to go 61 consecutive days after your start date.
I haven't really "played" in the Command Center in a long time and it was so good to pull out all my random supplies to make the index cards. I sure do miss getting my hands dirty.
Here are my Index Cards for the week:

TGIF; Thankful Friday #89
Happy Friday!

This week has been busy, busy, busy and I love it. The week started with ICAD 61 day challenge and our annual Summer Reading Marathon. My daughter and I already finished one book each and at least half way through book #2.
In the midst of all that, my granddaughter and I are working on signs for the garden post that hubby is working on. We're doing something like this...
But of course, putting our own spin on it.
This week was also the first week of summer for our granddaughter and daughter (she works for the school too and only during student days).
I guess I should get to the, "what am I thankful for"... this week, I'm thankful for the "schools out for summer" feeling. Yup, I'm still working, but there's something in the air at home that makes it ok.

Beautiful Floral All Occasion Cards
If you've been checking out my blog, you saw a similar version of this card for the CWS June challenge. Well, I colored and fussy cut more of these flowers so I figured, I may as well make more cards.
Below is the one I posted about earlier.
These cards were made with all scraps except the card base. I love making cards with scraps!

WOYWW #522
Happy Hump Day and Happy WOYWW! Do you want to find out what it's all about...click on over HERE to read more.
I'm having a busy & creative week so far since I started the ICAD 61 day challenge on Saturday. It's been awhile since I've gotten "messy" with all these fun mediums. I'll post a weekly recap with the first one scheduled for this Saturday.
I pushed all that aside to work on the wedding album. I'm scrapping the reception photos so I'm near the end. I know my son and DIL can't wait to get it.

Here's my desk:
It is so full of pink, black, white, and rose gold goodness.
The temperature has been getting higher & higher and we're supposed to hit 101F today. Thank goodness for AC!

New Dish Towels; VIDA
How awesome are these dish towels? Yes, that's my art...you may recall seeing it HERE in my junk journal.
So, I know I've mentioned it before, but I do have some clothing, purses and other items for sale on an online store, VIDA (click on the icon to the right to get to my shop).
I love the way these turned out!
And the coolest thing...my signature on them!
Check out my shop.
