LTCCB; December Anything Goes

Happy December 1st! It’s time for another monthly challenge at the Love To Craft Challenge Blog (LTCCB). As always, the challenge theme is...Anything Goes.

I bought this cute cardinal at the Target Dollar Spot and knew I would give it a new look for my  mom who loves cardinals.

This is what it looks like now:

I used red and black acrylic paint to cover the bird. The wing color I made by mixing the red and black paints together. I used my Cricut to cut the “joy” in white vinyl. They are only 1/2” tall and less than an inch wide. I used the washi setting to cut the tiny words out.

I love taking something inexpensive and plain and giving it a new look!
