WOYWW #525

Happy Hump Day and Happy WOYWW! Wednesdays I get to show you what's on my work desk via the WOYWW linkage at Stamping Ground. Go and check out all the other deskers!

My desk this morning:

I had to cover up the main project since it's for an upcoming project for BBTB2 Design Team that I'm on. Check it out if you have a die cutting machine. The DT projects are fabulous if I do say so myself.

Ok, back to my desk...I cleaned my work area which usually means about a 14" square area. To the right, I still have my wedding album embellies (almost done with it) and to the left are my cutters, papers, and mats for the project that I'm currently working on. HINT: it's a baby project. We're having a surprise Diaper Party for one of my coworkers next week. I'll post about this project on July 8th.

At the top of my work area is my tool holder, adhesives, etc.

Be sure to click over to Stamping Ground to take a peek into our craft rooms. Messy or clean, link your own too!

  2. New Arrival is always a useful cartridge for these occasions isn't it Dorlene? I haven't come across the other one on your desk though. It must be newer as I haven't added to my Cricut cartridge collection for quite a while. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

  7. I actually look forward to seeing the completed wedding book, but the diaper party sounds wonderful, too. You make the most beautiful crafts, especially with your die cutter (which I don't have, of course)! Happy WOYWW from #1.

  8. I've never heard of a diaper party before - is it like a baby shower?! They never had such things when I was expecting, all those many years ago, lol!! Hope it goes well anyway.

  11. A lovely busy desk, Dorlene. I hope we get to see the baby project once it's finished! I am sure the diaper party will be fun, too - I agree with Jan that it sounds like a baby shower.

Thank you for your visit, and I agree - I keep hearing about the electric pressure cookers and air fryers too! They seem to be popping up everywhere these days! I had my first experiments with it this afternoon, with varying degrees of success. It's a whole new ball game for me and a steep learning curve but I'm up for the challenge! It should make my life easier and save me energy, which is what it's all about! I did some air fried chips (French fries) and kale chips and veggie crisps (chips) today and managed to overcook most of it - it's a pretty fierce machine! I am going to attempt a roast chicken tomorrow... It's a good thing my hubby is so longsuffering!

Glad you like my idea for protecting my fingers from my lethal knives! It seems to work very well.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  12. Your desk looks nice and creative - lots of space to work compared to my teeny spot as all my clutter invades my space! I think I need a bigger room...LOL! Looking forward to seeing your completed projects! Sorry I'm so late this week, thank you for your earlier visit, Lindart #26
