Junk Journal Post #4

I'm probably going to say this every time, but I LOVE these junk journals! When I don't have a specific project to work on, I pulled out these little boogers and just start playing!

Here's what I did last night...

I've heard of the FOUND WORD pages so I thought I'd try it. My sister gave me a bunch of paperback books that she bought at a yard sale. So I grabbed one of them and just started pulling pages. Once I did that I browsed through to find some key words. This is not the most intelligent and well written sentence, but it worked for this journal.

Obviously started this page with a book page. I masked the words I wanted to use first then just started adding some FSJ acrylic paint. I actually used a dry paint brush to just spread color around. Then I used white acrylic paint and some bubble wrap and added white marks here and there. Once that was dry, I added black ink using some cardboard, bottle tops & toilet tissue roll. Once that was dry, I removed the masks, drew around the words with a black Stabilo pencil and used some water to smear the pencil marks.

I had a little half page on the journal that I glued the book page to - it fit perfectly.
